White Oaks Potato Salad is perfect for a picnic!
Williamstown Historical Museum found this recipe for potato salad in the 1897 White Oaks Cookbook created by the Women’s Working Association of the White Oaks Church:
Pare and slice some cold boiled potatoes. Peel and slice thin one onion. Mix into salad dish. Pour over them the following dressing: Stir together one saltspoon of salt, 1 tbs. of vinegar, ¼ tsp. of pepper, 3 tbs. of olive oil. Serve with parsley.
