The Store at Five Corners occupies one of the most historic locations in Berkshire County. Here, Mohican trails crossed and the Hancock Brook joins the Green River. The building was built and operated as a tavern in 1770. Soldiers gathered here during the American Revolution.
In 2022 The Store at Five Corners Stewardship Association (SAFCSA) finalized its purchase of the historic building.
The general store and café is run by Corey Wentworth, a talented chef and restaurant/café manager.
You can find locally sourced, seasonally rotating menu, and market shelves will be stocked with reasonably priced everyday basics and a grab-and-go case.
