Williamstown Theatre Festival internships

Add to Calendar Williamstown Theatre Festival internships WTF has developed a range of programs to support developing actors, playwrights and directors, including a Playwright in residence, writing residencies and a weekly reading series for works in progress. A rare Directing Internship gives an emerging director the chance to work with a professional director on one of the festival's productions and to direct members of the Apprentice Company in projects at the Festival, often working with actors as opposed to full productions. Theater apprentices study with resident and visiting artists and work hands-on in building sets, hanging lights, working with the marketing department and generally keeping the festival running smoothly. The Non-Equity Company, a competitive group of young professionals, appear in supporting roles in Main Stage and Nikos Stage productions and in principal roles in the Free Theatre and Fellowship Project productions.
