Jonathan Flatley (Wayne State University / Clark/Oakley Humanities Fellow) discusses artistic concepts related to liking trees. He argues that liking (as distinct from love) is a feeling capable of motivating collective opposition to the ongoing, massive, catastrophic destruction of forests.
