Add to Calendar LECTURE: Parmalee Prentice: Mount Hope's Polymath

Many know Parmalee Prentice from his development of Mount Hope Farm in Williamstown with his wife, Alta Rockefeller Prentice.  Though the farm and its owners are renowned for establishing scientifically based breeding methods, Prentice had numerous interests beyond livestock and crops.

Popular lecturer and historian Dustin Griffin will discuss Prentice's writings, collections, and more in an illustrated lecture. Using more than three dozen slides, Griffin will detail Prentice’s writing from his early legal books and articles in the 1890s to his final writings in the early 1950s.
