On November 30, 1916, the Walden Theatre first opened its doors. A hundred years later, Images Cinema is running as a year-round community film house, showing contemporary movies, documentaries, art and international films.
Along with its regular showings, Images regularly hosts free events, often partnering with Williams College to explore French drama, current events or the Muppet Movie.
In Oscar season the cinema celebrates with a red-carpet party and screenings. And in the summer, free film moves outdoors with flicks under the stars once a month at the top of Spring Street.
